CREDITS

We want to thank all those who have helped provide us with information during the beginning stages of our research. There is so much more to do.

First and foremost, we want to give my most sincere appreciation and thanks to the Kendrick and Mendenhall families. Without their information, the hard, raw data would be flat. Having the opportunity to sit down and talk with these wonderful people made the history come to life.

To the Kendrick family:
Thank you so VERY much for introducing us to Olwen. Having the opportunity to have her in our house on the day before her 101st birthday was amazing. She provided so much information to us. We want to further thank James Kendrick III for sending us a family portrait of the Kendricks from the period when they lived in the house.

To the Mendenhall family:
Janet, Thank You for sharing your family photographs with us. Not only did they provide a glimpse into what the house looked like so many years ago, but they gave us the opportunity to get to know more about you, your brother, and your parents. We only wish we could have gotten the chance to have met your Mom and Dad.

Terry, Thank You for generously giving back to the house the items that you had collected from the it so many years ago. It is amazing that you kept these "trinkets" all of these years. You have no idea how special these items are to us. No matter what happens to us, we will ensure that the returned items stay with the house.

We further want to thank the following individuals and organizations:

Scott Wright, Pueblo County Clerk & Recorder's Office. Not too long ago someone wrote into the Pueblo Chieftain and complained about the Clerk & Recorder's Office. We want to say that Scott and his staff were incredibly helpful and professional. We spent hours in their office doing research, and at every turn they assisted with pulling book after book from their archives. Scott, your office is by far the most cooperative office in the County system!!
