Surprisingly, it is easier to find information on families prior to 1930, than it is recent times. That is unless it is like the Kendrick and Mendenhall families where we obtained information from living family members. Currently, next to nothing is known of the Ryan family. U.S. Census records are not available for this family. (Census records are not available for seventy-two years after they are taken. Currently, census records are available up through 1930. The 1940 census records will not be available until Sunday, April 1, 2012.)
The City Directory only shows the couple from 1986 thorugh 1989. In there, it states that Richard was a clerk with the U.S. Post Office. There are no records of the couple prior to their owning the house, and nothing after they lost the house. The search for something about Richard and Marianne continues. Perhaps one of these days we may actually find and meet them.
